Sagar Kandhari
Founding Partner
ACP is led and managed by Sagar Kandhari, advised and supported by a panel of shareholders, advisors and capital partners.
Sagar Kandhari is an experienced investor and advisor operating in private markets for over 10 years across Europe and Asia. Passionate about private markets and a strong believer in the deepening of private markets in India, Mr. Kandhari frequently works with global LPs and GPs in accessing, underwriting and executing private market opportunities in India.
Prior to ACP, Mr. Kandhari was with HPS Investment Partners ($100+ billion asset manager) in London, underwriting and evaluating investment opportunities across the capital structure. Mr. Kandhari was member of founding team for the HPS Special Situations Opportunity Fund, focused on distressed debt transactions in public and private credit. Prior to his role at HPS, Mr. Kandhari worked with J.P. Morgan in the Leveraged Finance team in London, originating and structuring high yield and syndicated loan transactions.
Mr. Kandhari is an angel investor and advises various SME and growth stage companies on financing and strategy. He completed his Masters in Management from London Business School and holds an undergraduate degree from Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi.
